Dinosaur Valley State Park

So we had a fun filled Dinosaur Weekend! The kids took off on Wednesday with Grammie and Grandpa. They stopped at Cabela's for a break.

Here they are riding in the RV on the Way to Dinosaur Valley Sate Park

Here are some pictures at cabela's
They sure do think they are BIG STUFF with those guns!

They ended up staying the first night in Cleburne State park. It looks like they had a blast on thier playground. Here are a few shots of them.

So when they arrived at the State Park at the entrance is a long neck dinosaur and a T-Rex (aka Sharpsteeth by my kids) Here they are taking pictures with them.

About 1/2 mile before the Dinosaur Valley State Park is a place called Dinoworld where they have over 100 lifesize dinosaurs. Here a couple of shots at some of the dinosaurs.

We had a blast at Dinoworld there was even a fossil dig for the kids and they got to keep 3 things that they found in the sand. Here is a picture of Matthew and Aubrey on there dig.

The Kids had a blast and are ready to go on there next vacation!

As it turned out this past weekend was Richard and Patsy's 39th Anniversary. So Deanne Rick and I got them some flowers and a Dinosaur Bobble head to ride in on the motorhome. We also took them out for dinner at this Italian place in Glenrose called Juliany's. It was really good. We then went back to the campsite made smores and had some Chocolate cake. Here are a few pics.

Happy Anniversary Richard & Patsy
